Mike Dow, LMT

Founder, Dao Therapeutics | FL License #MA55507

Mike Dow is a licensed massage therapist based in Midtown Tallahassee, Florida, with over 17 years of experience in sports recovery, injury rehabilitation, and medical massage therapy. As the founder of Dao Therapeutics, he brings a precise, results-driven approach to every session, built around how your body actually moves and works.

Mike began his career in sports and medical massage, working extensively with professional and collegiate-level athletes. That foundation shaped his clinical approach: treatment-focused, tissue-specific, and built around measurable outcomes. Whether you are managing a chronic injury, recovering from an acute strain, or looking to maintain peak performance, sessions at Dao Therapeutics are designed to move the needle.

His work draws on a deep myofascial framework, integrating deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, and therapeutic stretching to address the root of pain and dysfunction rather than just the symptoms. This approach makes Dao Therapeutics a go-to destination for athletes, active individuals, and anyone in Tallahassee seeking serious, targeted soft tissue care.

In addition to sports and medical massage, Mike offers Craniosacral Therapy for clients dealing with chronic neck and back pain, headaches, stress-related tension, and nervous system dysregulation. This gentle, hands-on work complements his clinical massage practice and is particularly effective for clients who carry high physical or neurological stress loads.

Mike is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Central Florida, deepening his understanding of the mind-body connection and its role in pain, recovery, and long-term well-being.

If you are looking for a sports massage therapist or medical massage therapist in Tallahassee, Dao Therapeutics offers personalized, one-on-one care in a focused Midtown Tallahassee setting. No fluff. Just work that gets results.
